About Us

“But they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings like eagles;
they shall run and not be weary;
they shall walk and not faint.”
— Isaiah 40:31

We’re Whitney and Erica—sisters united by a shared vision: to empower women through strength, education, and community. At Redeemed Strength in Danville, VA, we’ve created more than just a gym; we’ve built a sanctuary exclusively for women—a place where you can feel safe, supported, and inspired on your fitness journey.

Our 24/7 facility is thoughtfully designed for women, focusing on real-life fitness and wellness education. Whether you’re just starting out or training at an elite level, we offer personal training, nutrition coaching, and classes tailored to meet you where you are and help you progress.

We understand that women’s bodies are unique, and so is the way we train, eat, and grow. Our mission is to teach women how to work with their bodies in every phase of life, fostering a community that celebrates strength, confidence, and mental well-being.

Every detail—from our equipment and layout to our network of amazing women collaborators—reflects our dedication. We can’t wait to welcome you into a space made for women, by women.

Let’s grow stronger, together.

Erica Anderson

About Erica

Hey, I’m Erica, co-owner of Redeemed Strength. I am an ISSA certified personal trainer, strength and conditioning coach, bodybuilding specialist, and nutritionist. I also have an additional nutrition certification from RP Strength. My goal is to teach women how to improve their health and quality of life without giving up all the “not-so-healthy” things we enjoy.

I currently work in a leadership position at a competitive retailer in Danville where I have been 11 years. In additional to leading my team, I also act as a fitness/health advisor to them which I absolutely love! Outside of work, I keep a strong focus on my faith and family. I recently got engaged to my boyfriend of 8 years and have a 14-year-old son who is almost taller than me (I’m 6’). I enjoy reading and have been getting into gardening and composting lately. I still need some practice, but I enjoy it!

I started getting serious with my health and fitness in my 30s. The more I learned about nutrition, exercise, and women’s specific protocols the more I wished I had had someone to teach me along the way and sooner in my life. So, along with years of independent research, I decided to get certifications in personal training and nutrition so that I could help other women make the best health and fitness
choices regardless of where they are in their fitness journey.

Through my years of research and certification classes, I have learned about hypertrophy (muscle-building specific) training, strength training, different cardiovascular modalities, macro and micronutrients, nutrient timing, fat-loss and muscle-gain phases, supplements, habit-formation, psychological factors, & women’s specific training and nutrition.

Now that you know a little more about me, I challenge you to take action. Take the next step to starting or leveling up your fitness journey. It is never too late to redeem your strength!

Whitney Fulton

About Whitney

First, and foremost I am a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ. I believe that all of my blessings, abilities, and my calling comes from God. Professionally, I have been a registered nurse for over 14 years, and obtained my BSN at Averett University in 2015 to further my nursing education. I am a NASM and NCCA certified Personal Trainer with a long history of personal fitness, nutrition, and sports goals. I am also certified in women’s specific fitness, which will allow me to best support the woman’s body through training, and just life in general. My current passions for sport are XC mountain biking, in which I compete a couple times a year, and swimming. I am also a USA Swimming certified swim coach, and have been coaching competitive swimming for the last two years. Personally, my own fitness journey has grown so much over the years. I have educated myself, grown in my exercise structure, and become much more intentional with my fitness and nutrition. My desire is to pull from all of these knowledge bases to develop a well rounded, individualized plan to help each woman best develop her own health holistically. True health includes mental, physical, spiritual, and functional health. I find great joy in using the education and experience that I have, in educating and empowering other women to become their best selves.

I am married to a wonderful, hard-working, and supportive man. His name is Jason, and he has been with me through all the avenues that life has taken me, and I am forever grateful. We have two children. However, one is a grown young man who has done amazing things already. Nathaniel has graduated college and is working full time in industrial maintenance. His abilities, independence, and overall personality are one of a kind, and make him a very special young man. Our daughter, Keagan, is 14 and has been a live wire since day one. I have been homeschooling her for the last 5 years, and she is thriving and has become so independent. I am proud and sad all at the same time. She is a very motivated young lady. We also have two dogs, a mature miniature schnauzer, Sarah, and a 16 month old golden shepherd puppy, Solomon. Whew!!

When I am not working, I enjoy riding my bike, swimming, hiking, and just being outside. We live on a large piece of property so I spend a lot of days running a tractor, a chainsaw, or a weedeater just trying to keep up with nature, and to keep it looking like we live there. I have always enjoyed hard work. My Dad taught my siblings and I, that we were to always work hard, and he led by example. Being able to build a gym with my sister has been an amazing opportunity to not only work with someone I care for deeply, but to work with someone who shares the same values and work ethic that I do. If you are interested in reaching your full potential and showing up for life every day, come see us at Redeemed Strength and let us work hard to develop a plan for you.
